Had a great time with friends! We tackled hikes and explored the charming village nearby. The access to the spa was a bonus after a long day. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly. Just a heads up – it can get busy at mealtime, so plan ahead to avoid the rush!
The lunch menu was disappointing compared to what we expected from the website. Choices were limited, and the prices felt high for what we got.

Stunning, stunning, stunning.
The views are breathtaking, with the hotel overlooking the picturesque River Wharfe and the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales. Dining in the conservatory while soaking in the scenery made every meal feel special. Their afternoon tea? A deliciously warm scone treat that I couldn't get enough of!
Totally recommend! 😍❤️

Perfect getaway for solo travelers
Had a comfortable stay in a small double room with a fine view overlooking the dales. The cute bar bistro downstairs served up a delicious breakfast that gave me the boost I needed for the day.

missingWrote a review on 13 Junbreathtaking viewsquality breakfastexcessive pricing
The hotel boasts breathtaking views over the River Wharfe and surrounding countryside, which add a unique charm to the experience. The breakfast features well-cooked traditional items, showcasing attention to quality, particularly the scrambled eggs and freshly made breads.
Rooms can get swelteringly hot without air conditioning, which is surprising given the price. With no lift available, reaching the second-floor rooms involves two flights of stairs, making it a challenge for those with heavier luggage or mobility issues. The evening meal is overpriced for the portion sizes and quality offered, while drink prices hit excessive levels, like £26 for a double gin and tonic. the decor in rooms appears mismatched, with some showing signs of wear, such as coffee stains on carpets.
